Word processing
Word processing software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint
This site contains links to activities and slideshows which are saved as Word document and/or Powerpoint files. Students should download these files to their computer by clicking the link. If they have problems opening the file, they should right-click the mouse (press CTRL and click on a Macintosh) and select "save target as..." or "save link as...". They should then choose a location on their computer where the file is to be saved.

- QuickTime 5.02 or higher or Window Media Player 6.4 or higher
- Flash Player 8 or higher
- Acrobat Reader 5 or higher.
For CD-ROM:
To install any of these plug-ins go to the folder on this CD-ROM called "installers" and run the required plug-ins.
For Web:
Get the latest plug-ins: QuickTime, Windows Media Player, Flash or Acrobat
Internet access:
- If Internet access is unavailable, the teacher or supervisor may substitute alternative resources and activities as appropriate.
- Video components will be slow to download on a modem Internet connection
