Tutor and Child - Managing behaviour is vital to the learning process.

This unit provides competency-based training in basic skills in guiding a child's behaviour so that a person may meet the challenges of work in a school setting. All persons who work in schools have a unique position of responsibility and trust with regards the communities they serve and the children in their care. It is essential basic skills in guiding and managing children's behavour are held by all persons wishing to work with students.
